Sound Story Project!!!

The Task

We had to create a story only using sound, with no video, and not exceed  4 words. This was by far one of the best projects I've ever one. It was really easy to learn the process of putting all the sound clips together since i used iMovie. I feel like i gained alottttt of practice and i feel so much more confident about editing. When I first heard about the project, i was so excited and had so many ideas. 

The Story

To be honest, Emily and I put this project off for way too long. When we got the project I was in Colombia and the driving there is absolutely TERRIBLEEE. I witnessed two car accidents in a span of like 15 minutes. There is always background noise of cars honking and just like trafficy noise. So it just hit me, that our project should be based off a car accident. Emily had the same idea so we brainstormed everything. Then we didnt touch it for like a week. When i got back, there was a hurricane and we put it off till the very last second. But when we finally got going, i was super focused and spent the whole day working on it. The story we decided was about this girl who just got out from this party and she is super drunk and decides to drive herself. She walks to the car, gets in and starts blasting music. And not to spoil it or anything but she gets into a car accident and in the background you can hear the tires screeching, horns honking, and eventually police sirens.

The Issues

As I previously mentioned, im trying to learn how to use premier pro. I tried at first doing it on there, but quickly realized i absolutely suckeddddd at it and used iMovie. I really was struggle looking for different sound effect and creating what i envisioned. I went through many sketchy websites, downloading various car sound effects. I was annoying everyone, asking everyone if it actually sound like a car crash cause ive head it so many times, everything blended together. While making the sound effects with Emily, we were trying to make bottle clinking sounds. And as we went to hit the bottles together i dropped it and it completely shattered everywhere .
