Costuming

 Today we are going to be establishing that the main character of our film is going to look like. If you have read my storyboarding blog, everything should make more sense.

The opening shot, Emily( the MC) will be her wearing a tank top (her bottom half will not be filmed).  Since she just woke up, her hair would be messy and just have bedhead The tank top was just to show she is an average girl, and to be relatable. Since the MC is a teenager, it important to keep it authentic, and since me and Emily are teenagers, there is no problem in that department.

As she gets off the bed, there is a shot of her feet and she stands up. Personally, I  HATTEEEE when bare feet are shown on camera and are in movie so the MC will be wearing black ankle socks. 

As the scene progresses, the MC will put on some distressed mom jeans that have laying around in my closet. Emily is a couple sizes smaller than i am, but i love the idea that she just doesnt even wear clothes that fit her properly and helps to bring the character together.

The last thing the MC is going to wear is a oversized black sweater. We made this choice after we assessed what we have already in our wardrobes and it works fine for what we are looking for, messy disorganized and relatable. And for shoes we are going to do some beaten up Converse and i feel is very teenagery and i already have many options for.
