Recent Inspiration and Obstacles

Welcome back my amazing, loyal followerrss. Me and Emily recently have had our first filming day, and let me tell ya, wayy harder then i expected. Ill fully cover that in an upcoming post but for now i want to just put all my other ideas into that havent fit into my other post into this one, so you can have a sense of where my head is at.

I have previously stated that my photography teacher was going to lend us a camera and when i went to go pick it up, it was this little piece of junk from 2013 that had pretty bad quality compared to my phone. Buttttt im not one to complain so i took it with a smile and walked away. So when our filming day came around it was for the best that we just used my phone since it would just look better. That day i returned that shitty camera, she gave me a wayyyyy nicer camera. And with our second filming day approaching im not sure if i want to re-film everything, or stick it finishing it on my phone.

it doesnt look too bad but she had told me she was giving us a really nice camera so i was very disappointed when i saw this.

Since my mise-en-scene blog, i have recent been watching different movies, with teenagery vibes. One of this happen to be Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and im obsessed with the comic book vibe of it, so i want to incorporate that into our film somehow. I was thinking, there is this one scene where Scott is getting ready to leave to fight the final evil ex and it the perfect mix of intense and funny that i want in our film.Scott Pilgrim vs. product placement - Brands & Films

Me and Emily were talking about adding another scene that gives her almost a problem and i think its a great idea. The only thing with that is do we have enough time, will it fit in to the rest of the film, and it is concise enough for a film opening.
