No sounds effects???

  As you may remember, I had a post for the sounds and I said i would keep you updated. Sooooo this is the update!!! 

We had planned to make all the sounds during spring break, but during the planned day, me and Emily got a little lazy. We were on that spring break mentality and really didn't feel like working. We got around to making a list of every sound we needed, then we kinda just slugged around all day. 

I was trying to find a better microphone then my phone and realized we could use the mic that came from the camera Ms. Perez had gave me. So i was trying to find something to connect it to, my phone doesn't have a headphone jack and my laptop is somehow broken. I guess something had broken off in there and i hadn't noticed it until just then. My only option at the moment was to use my dads phone.

And you may be thinking to yourself, "why don't you just use the camera", I TRIED connecting the camera to the mic and no matter what I did it wouldn't record audio through the mic and instead would record through the microphone in the camera. And I tried researching how to fix the issue and everywhere had said to make sure the mic was switched on but I couldn't find a on button for the microphone. So sure enough when I had try to use my dad's phone instead it was still recording audio out of the out of the phone microphone instead of the mic microphone.

So eventually I just gave up trying to figure out how to use the mic, and eventually me and Emily had just given up altogether trying for that day. And my mom had suggested going to go get something for dinner since it was getting kind of late, so we just went to go get food and then after go shopping (we forget about the reason that we got together in the first place.) We had split up the sounds into different portions, I would do the first sounds that would come from my room, and Emily would do the sounds that were coming from the bathroom.

 And that was on Thursday.

 Me and Emily had school on Monday. 

I had not done the sounds by Monday. 

I asked Emily if she had done the sounds. 

She had not.

 Later that night I had gone home and done the sounds but I was doing them like 1 by 1. So I would record the sound for one thing, then put it into the video to see what it would sound like. Quickly found out you could not hear them in the video. so I was trying to figure out a way on lowering the music and increasing the sound effects (I'm still really new at this so all the editing stuff took me a long time to figure out) and by like 10:30 I had officially given up. The next day I had told Emily there's probably no use and making the sounds if you can't hear them in the video. We both decided from that moment that our film was not going to have any sound effects. and this mess is the reason our film does not have any sound effects besides the very first clip where the alarm clock falls. if you've listened very closely you could hear the alarm clock falling as the beat of the music drops.
